I know this isn’t baseball related

, but the Bad Boys era Pistons were smack dab in the middle of a period of time where I probably watched more sports then I ever did or have since.  In fact I watched every single Pistons game in 1992 with my then roommate up at MSU.  I missed the news that he had pancreatic cancer so this came as a shock.  Chuck Daly will go down in history for a lot of things, but probably the most impressive is that he was the one guy who could handle Dennis Rodman.  There was a period of time where the “Worm” appeared pretty normal and it wasn’t until Chuck left the Pistons that Rodman became more and more eccentric.
